Our Methods of Teaching

The investment our community makes in our children and community today serves to build high-functioning adults and a stronger community of the future

We evaluated the best of the best. We will start by taking advantage of years of proven work in the field with Leadership Embodiment, The Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom’s 16 Guidelines, Kaizen and more! We are also inspired by the work of The Resilience Project in Australia.

Proven Methods

Proven methods to prevent emergence of mental issues are grounded in neuroscience and behavioral research.

Our hypothesis is two fold to increase effectiveness

1 – By improving well-being with adults that interact with children through empowerment, mindfulness and positive psychology, we can decrease stress, increase happiness and mental health first in adults and then longitudinally have a positive impact on children in their care.

2 – By increasing positivity with children by teaching gratitude, kindness, aspiration and mindfulness, we can build resilience and decrease stress and anxiety.

Test & Learn Approach

1- We co-develop curriculum with schools to focus on unique needs and opportunities

2 – We engage students and teachers via synchronous training sessions

3- We build evangelists with teachers so they reinforce the learnings in the classroom

4 – We cultivate a culture of positive emotion and compassion within each school community

5 – We design the rollout scientifically to prove the work, iterate and expand to more children
